About MVC and SharePoint

I am a B.E. 2013 pass out student. Currently I am working in an Asp.Net company. I did my college projects in .Net as well.

I am learning MVC and SharePoint.

I want to know that If I know SharePoint how helpful It can be for my future?

 What r the biggest advantage as a developer If you know SharePoint?
