Jquery Page slider not working after adding CQWP

i have page slider on my home page which is a jquery slider and it is a webpart embedded in page layout. while adding a content query webpart in that page, slider stops working. It may be jquery conflict with CQWP. How to find the jquery used for CQWP? any suggesstions please.
