TextArea in asp.net

Hi,
Im using Text Area in the aspx page  where it displays Members one in each line.I want to separate each of them with a comma delimiter.Is it possible to do it in javascript instead of using JQuery J SON.And i need to send the comma separated string to the code behind for saving. I need the solution quickly.
