How to increase system Performence

hi friends,

I used Visual Studio 2010. My system performence is poor when i run visual studio applications while i uninstalled all the other applications from pc.
my system cconfiguration are :

processor-P4
RAM-2gb
Hdd-512gb
OS-windows-7
And all the 4 drives are contain(20-30gb data)

Please  Help me if any one have an idea.
