How to get the box style around the menu control

Hi,
      In my designing i used the sitemap and then menu control.With menu control i am able to see the menu and sub menu items.But i would like to use css style to make a box around the menus to make it more appealing.I am not sure what are the additional things that i should implement in my coding.
